To gain insight into the future direction of higher education, a survey of Vietnam has been conducted on students, administrators, and faculty for the third year in a row. ## **What is Student Success and Engagement?** Student success and engagement in higher education refer to the academic and personal achievement and involvement of students in their college or university experience. Student success can include meeting academic requirements, acquiring knowledge and skills, graduating, and entering the workforce or pursuing further education. Engagement can include participation in extracurricular activities, research, internships, volunteer work, or other educational opportunities that enhance learning and personal development. High levels of student success and engagement are important for both the individual student and the institution as a whole. When students are successful and engaged, they are more likely to complete their degrees and achieve their career goals.
